Kindred Group is Operator of the Year

Our new chapter as Kindred Group got off to a bang with a string of high profile and much coveted awards coming our way.

It all began at the International Content Marketing Awards in London where we took home Gold for Unibet’s awesome #LuckIsNoCoincidence campaign. Described by the judges as ‘a true game-changer’ it goes to show that innovation in marketing can be just as disruptive and impactful as innovation in tech. Check out the campaign for yourself here


We then moved onto to the EGR awards where our team were the big winners of the evening. Once again #LuckIsNoCoincidence won us Best Marketing Campaign which only further endorsed how fantastic this campaign really was. We also took home the award for Socially Responsible Operator¸ which made us deeply proud. We’ve lead the way in Player Safety and Responsible Gambling for the last 20 years and this award recognised the hard work and passion of our dedicated Responsible Gambling team.

Our final award of the evening was Operator of the Year. We were pitched against the very best in our industry and to leave victorious is a true testament to the incredible effort our team has made over the past 12 months. To say we’re proud would be an understatement!

Then came the final awards of the season; the Direct Marketing Association Awards where, once again, #LuckIsNoCoincidence was nominated in two categories. We knew we were in for a special night when we won Best Campaign, beating the likes of Easyjet and Monarch. What came next blew us away. After 34 awards were distributed, the ‘Grand Prix’ award was last. This one goes to the best marketing campaign across all industries. We were up against the likes of Virgin, Microsoft, Gap, Sky, IKEA, BT and BMW, with the winner voted on by 300 leading industry figures.

We were victorious!

None of this could have been achieved without a great team of almost 1200 awesome people.
